AfdelingThe Diagnostics Division is part of the After Sales organization within Marketing & Sales. This department is responsible for the development, production and maintenance of diagnostic equipment (hardware and software) for DAF Trucks and PACCAR Engines workshops and factories worldwide.FunctieomschrijvingThe Diagnostics Business Analist investigates the VPD (Vehicle Programming and Diagnostics) needs within PACCAR and translates these into requirements and User Requirement Specifications. He gathers customer and business needs and converts them to 'required' functionalities and explains them to our internal and external suppliers: the authoring team, the toolset team, ITD, SPX, ETAS, Softing, Siemens, … These will then design and implement these functionalities. After which the business analist will verify if this was done as requested.
He/she will be the pro-active driving force between various PACCAR VPD customers and stakeholders and the GVPD and Diagnostics teams and their suppliers. He/she reports to the Diagnostics Business Manager.
The main responsibilities (that will be divided between 3 persons) are:
1. Define, follow up and verify all vehicle and system Diagnostic Requirements needed in Service globally for DAF vehicles and PACCAR engines; 2. Define, review and verify all Manufacturing related GVPD requirements and/or all Service related GVPD, and follow-on projects, requirements; 3. Assure PACCAR's VPD and service diagnosis competitive position in the market; 4. determine mid-term product and business VPD and service diagnosis plans. He/she works in close cooperation with equipment suppliers, the PACCAR Information Technology Department, the Product Development group, Manufacturing engineers and other Marketing & Sales teams.FunctieprofielA Bachelor or Master Degree in Engineering with emphasis on information technology is required.
5 years of experience is required. Preferably in an automotive, IT or service environment. Good knowledge of English is required.
Proven requirements definition and acceptance validation skills are a pro. Knowledge of vehicle communication and diagnostic methods are an asset.
