Main responsibilities
The Operations department manages the Open Integration Platform (OIP), which links together all the critical Nuon business processes and makes them accessible via web services. Your key duties in this team:
- Manage project based developed systems
- Maintain the application landscape and pro-actively make improvements
- Stimulate and execute close cooperation with your Nuon colleagues
- Significantly contribute to the stability and quality of the Service-Oriented Architecture
- Set up and design new environments and deploy applications
You will have many tools available such as:
- Apache/Linux/Maven/ Subversion
- Enterprise Content Management Systems
- Various Middleware platforms
Knowledge in one of the following fields is an advantage
You gain great satisfaction from managing complex environments. You have proven to work on a Bachelor level and are experienced in maintaining a Java Enterprise based environment.
- At least two years of experience as EAI specialist within an operational IT department
- Crucial is experience in an operational Middleware Environment
- Experience as a Application Adminstrator for custom made applications is a pre
- Experience with Weblogic/Aqualogic or Oracle Fusion Middleware
- Experience with one or more of the above mentioned tools is a pre
